486 stone steps lead up to the summit of Múa mountain, where you take in the full panorama of Tam Cốc — the Ngô Đồng River winding through rice fields and ranges upon ranges of limestone mountains. At the top stand a statue of Quan Âm and a stone dragon coiling along the ridge, the iconic "check-in" spot of Ninh Bình. It is most beautiful at early dawn in the ripe-rice season.
